[07/7/08 13:12!!] everything (well almost everything) I've ever done up to this point seems completely meaningless in this moment. like it's all shit. like I can't do this without school. not necessarily because of the classes and the knowledge (but that too) but because of the resources and the opportunities and the connections. I have the most wonderful ideas flowing through my veins in this moment but no way of executing them. no blank rooms with white walls for installations, no dark rooms, no printers, not even a computer that is of actual use to me. I risked the mouse and the spiders and crawled into the crawl space behind the piano and dug out the tripod and dragged the bench around the yard and set the shot and got dressed and braided my hair, started up the flash on the camera and rubber-banded it to the tripod only to realize I had no one to push the shutter, the only camera in my possession has no timer. I am starting over, I am putting what's behind, truly behind and I am moving back to the ocean. I'm not deleting this journal but I am not using it, at least for now. no more jumbyskirt, no more maryjane jumbo, no more hiding. I want to get noticed. There is an art museum/gallery in town and I am determined to get something hung there. under__water comment   or  read  11

ohemgee hey! [07/6/08 14:07!!] hey eljay, I got me some intrawebz so hey, HEY, long time no see and stuff, what's new? my website is down, I am considering whether I should maybe just retrieve all my files and start over with something new, no more jumbyskirt, but I can't decide and don't know where to begin on a new name.. hmph. do you have any opinions? also, reading is my favorite, I forgot that but now I am remembering again. it feels good. ALSO, I have shelves above my desk and my desk is almost clear and I started a new moleskine and my cat is mewing at me. comment   or  read  2
